Auto Mileage Tracking

Automatic GPS trip detection with jitter filtering and signal-loss recovery. Every trip is valued at the IRS rate on its date — $0.725/mi Jan–Jun, $0.76/mi Jul–Dec 2026 — and commute miles are auto-split from delivery miles.

Screenshot Import (OCR)

Schedule C & Tax Packet

A live Schedule C preview organized by IRS line item, plus a complete accountant-ready packet: mileage log, expenses, 1099s, and quarterly payments. Export as PDF or TurboTax CSV.

Expense & Fuel Tracking

Other apps are either too complex or way overpriced. GigLedger does exactly what you need — starting at $4.99/mo with a free 7-day trial.

vs. QuickBooks Self-Employed

QuickBooks charges $15+/month. GigLedger is just $4.99/mo with GPS jitter filtering, commute auto-splitting, fuel tracking, and an Apple Watch app that QuickBooks does not have. Try it free for 7 days.

vs. Stride / Everlance

Stride and Everlance sell your data to insurance companies and tax services. GigLedger stores everything locally on your device — plus it auto-splits commute from delivery miles and scans screenshots from 5 gig platforms. Zero data sharing.

vs. MileIQ

MileIQ only tracks mileage for $5.99/mo with server-side processing. GigLedger does on-device GPS filtering, fuel tracking, multi-platform earnings, tax estimates, and Schedule C — all for $4.99/mo with no cloud dependency.

Common Questions

Everything gig workers need to know.

GigLedger offers a 7-day free trial with full access to every feature. After the trial, choose Monthly ($4.99/mo) or Yearly ($39.99/yr — save 33%). No ads, no data selling, and no hidden fees. All features are included with both plans.
GigLedger supports all major gig platforms including DoorDash, Uber, Uber Eats, Lyft, Instacart, Grubhub, Amazon Flex, Spark, and more. You can also add custom platforms for any 1099 contract work.
GigLedger offers GPS-based automatic trip tracking that records your route, distance, and calculates your IRS standard mileage deduction at the rate in force on each trip's date. The IRS raised the 2026 rate mid-year (Announcement 2026-11): $0.725/mile from January 1 to June 30 and $0.76/mile from July 1 onward — GigLedger applies the correct rate to every trip automatically, so your Schedule C stays accurate through the change. It uses GPS jitter filtering to eliminate phantom distance from parking lots, signal-loss recovery to keep tracking through tunnels and garages, and automatically splits commute miles from delivery miles. It detects delivery stops, splits multi-stop trips, works in the background, and survives app kills. You can also log trips manually.
All data is stored locally on your device. On iOS, data is stored using Apple's SwiftData framework with optional iCloud sync via your personal Apple account. On Android, data is stored using Room (SQLite). Nothing is sent to external servers. There is no tracking, no ads, and no third-party data sharing.
GigLedger generates a Schedule C preview PDF organized by IRS line items that you can share with your tax preparer. It calculates estimated self-employment tax, federal, state, and local taxes in real time, and reminds you of quarterly payment deadlines.
Most gig workers should set aside 25-30% of their gross earnings for taxes. This covers self-employment tax (15.3%), federal income tax, and state/local taxes. GigLedger calculates your exact set-aside amount after every dash based on your actual tax situation.
Yes. GigLedger supports DoorDash, Uber, Uber Eats, Lyft, Instacart, Grubhub, Amazon Flex, Spark, and any other 1099 gig platform. All earnings are combined for your tax calculations and Schedule C, and you can filter by platform anytime.
If you expect to owe more than $1,000 in taxes for the year, the IRS requires you to make quarterly estimated payments (due in April, June, September, and January). GigLedger tracks your quarterly liability and sends reminders before each deadline so you never miss a payment.
Yes. Just screenshot your DoorDash earnings summary screen and import it into GigLedger. The built-in OCR automatically extracts your base pay, tips, number of deliveries, and active time. You can import multiple screenshots per day and merge them into one daily entry.
Yes — GigLedger is live on Google Play. Install it for Android — same features as iOS: earnings tracking, GPS mileage, receipt scanning, tax calculations, widgets, and more. Have an iPhone? Download GigLedger for iOS.
